Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools Focus on Students and Families

Rustom Kerawalla and VIBGYOR Group of Schools are keeping students and families at the heart of their plans as the Group moves towards its goal of 80+ schools. The Annual Leadership Meet in Navi Mumbai brought together principals and senior leaders from VIBGYOR campuses across India. The three day gathering focused on growth and leadership while also discussing the experience created for every learner and family.

The event was held under the theme “Navigating the Next Horizon: Charting the Course to 80+ Schools.” It reflected the Group’s plans to expand its network while maintaining a strong focus on education. For VIBGYOR growth is not only about having more schools. It is also about creating learning environments where students can develop and families can feel connected.

Rustom Kerawalla shared his thoughts on the next stage of the Group’s journey. He highlighted that the goal of reaching 80+ schools should be linked with the quality of experience offered to children and their families. This approach places the needs of learners at the centre of future planning.

The leadership meet gave principals an opportunity to discuss the changing expectations of students and parents. School leaders shared experiences from their campuses and exchanged ideas about improving the learning environment. These discussions helped create a common direction for the wider VIBGYOR network.

Parents and communities were also an important part of the discussions. One of the panel sessions focused on strengthening relationships between schools and families. Parents play an important role in a child’s education and better cooperation can support students in many ways.

The Future of Schooling panel explored how learning spaces and teaching methods may need to change. Students are growing up in a rapidly changing world. Schools therefore need to understand new challenges and provide an environment that supports learning and personal development.

Another panel focused on Teachers of the Future. Teachers remain a key part of a student’s journey. The discussion highlighted the importance of developing a strong educator base that can support learners and respond to new educational needs.

The Business of Education panel looked at sustainable growth. A growing school network needs careful planning and strong operations. The session explored how educational goals can be supported through responsible management.

Kavita Kerawalla also highlighted the role of principals in creating school communities. Her message focused on the importance of supporting teachers and parents while empowering children.

The gathering also included motivational sessions by Brigadier Baleyada Muthanna Cariappa and Indian Paralympian Deepa Malik. Their stories offered lessons in resilience discipline and leadership.

Founded by Rustom Kerawalla in 2004 VIBGYOR Group of Schools now has 41 schools across 15 major cities. The Group supports more than 60,000 learners. As VIBGYOR works towards 80+ schools it continues to focus on students families quality education and strong school communities.
